Iowa Family PAC Endorses George Eichhorn
Pleasant Hill, IA – With just two weeks left before the June 8th primary election, the Iowa Family PAC is pleased to announce their formal endorsement of George Eichhorn, who is a candidate for the office of Secretary of State.
“Next to the Governor, the Secretary of State is perhaps the most important position in state government,” according to Iowa Family PAC President Chuck Hurley. “The Secretary of State is charged with maintaining the integrity of our elections, and the man or woman who holds that office must be someone who is not only competent but who also maintains the highest personal standards.”
Commenting on Eichhorn’s qualifications and character, Hurley said, “While it is certainly reassuring to find a candidate for office who has a record of support for pro-family and pro-business legislation like George Eichhorn, the Iowa Family PAC is more concerned about supporting candidates who fear God and will honor Him if elected.” He continued, “We have found George Eichhorn to be one of those all too rare statesmen who is able to maintain his integrity and independence even though he has a long history of service in elected office. We believe that is a reflection of a desire to please God that is stronger than any desire to appease the power brokers in the political system.”
Hurley concluded by saying, “Elections are often very close in Iowa, and if we hope to avoid the appearance of our Secretary of State having his finger on the scale as they did in Minnesota recently, we need a man like George Eichhorn serving in that office. We are pleased to offer him our endorsement and our support as he seeks the Republican nomination on June 8.”
The Iowa Family PAC is associated with IFPC Action, a Christian organization dedicated to the promotion of a Biblical worldview and family friendly public policy. As the June 8th primary approaches, the Iowa Family PAC will continue to evaluate candidates who have requested an endorsement.
